Dive Club

The Geelong Dive Club operates in a relaxed family atmosphere. It warmly welcomes all Divers and non-Divers to come along for a friendly get together. Throughout the year there are guest speakers, theme nights, special outings, pizza nights as well as regular trips organised to locations both interstate and overseas each year including the infamous annual Mt Gambier trip to South Australia. During the daylight savings months the Dive Club has regular mid-week dives as well as weekend dives. Alternating between boat and shore dives we meet at Geelong Dive Centre before either heading out to the Bellarine Peninsula or Great Ocean Road for our shore dives or down to our boat departure point at Queenscliff. These dives present an ideal opportunity for those keen to get out and get wet as well as improve their skills in dive site evaluating and local knowledge. Boat dives are also organised on the weekends to varying locations in and around Port Phillip Heads and numbers fill up fast so remember to get in early. To see the itinerary and what dives are running please check out our Boat Dives page.

Membership to the Geelong Dive Club entitles divers to a full range of benefits including savings on dive gear purchases, discounts on hire equipment, discounted air fills, and discounted boat dives. The Club provides an ideal way for those new to diving to make contact with dive buddies and make new friendships along the way. The Geelong Dive Club is open to all ages, genders and diver levels, non-divers friends and family are also welcome and we look forward to seeing you soon! You never know you may even win our prestigious Golden Fin Award!
