Course Schedule (Book Online)

As a PADI Five 5 Star Dive Centre we offer a full range of well structured, organised and professionally run Dive courses from entry level right through to Instructor. We focus on providing every student with personalised  attention to ensure that your introduction to this great sport is an enjoyable one that you will find informative and rewarding. With the priority emphasis on safety and maximum enjoyment, we want to give you an experience you will never forget! Our Instructors are highly qualified and experienced and operate in a relaxed style making the learning easy going and friendly. We are extremely proud of our ability to train confident and safe divers who continue their diving well after the course.

At Geelong Dive Centre we operate an "Electronic Classroom" where students can learn the principles of diving with full audiovisual and personal computer assistance.  Students can choose to complete their Knowledge Development Sessions on the classroom p.c.'s, or if time is a concern, we can also give credit for home study learning.  And for those not too keen on the information technology side of diving don't worry as we also offer traditional classroom presentations as well.

All student dive equipment is of the highest standard and is replaced every two years to ensure that you learn in the most modern equipment available.  As well, all students learn how to use dive computers on all of our courses which enables students to then easily apply it to their own diving after the course.

We are also extremely proud of the fact that in over 20 years of teaching students to dive in the area we have had no incidents and boast a 100% safety record!

Discover Scuba & Discover Scuba Diving

If you've never tried Scuba Diving before and are keen to give it a go, but not totally sure if you want to commit to the full course just yet, then you may be interested in trying one of these two options.  You'll soon see why so many people get hooked on diving each year!

Discover Scuba consists of an introductory experience to scuba diving all in the confines of a swimming pool.  It's run over approximately 1-2 hours and consists of an equipment familiarisation module, a skill development session and a scuba games session.  It's a lot of fun and an excellent way to find out if you'd like to continue your diving pathway.

Discover Scuba Diving is really an extension to the Discover Scuba. It includes all of the above but it progresses further with an Instructor guided dive at an Openwater location where you can put your new found skills to the test with the fish!  It's conducted over a one day experience.
